There are angels for everything, and the very best way to communicate with an angel is to just ask. Be concise, and be sure you are actually asking a question, or making a need known. They are very literal. Don't just say, "Please help me." Say, "Please help me write this book." or "Please protect me from so and so's bad temper."
Don't ask them for information either; that's not their purpose - although they can provide some information in the right circumstances. In general, do not treat them as fortune tellers. They can't help you there.
There are angels for everything. On Wednesday nights, I call on a dream angel to help me connect with our dream subject. There are relationship angels - one for every single relationship. There are communication angels. There are master angels who are masters at their specialty. They aren't the same as Guardian Angels. A Guardian stays with us always, through each lifetime. It's my personal belief that Guardian Angels are part of our own soul. The others come and go as they are needed.
Angels have specific jobs and functions, so it is difficult when we ask them for guidance or information that they can't provide. They don't know our future anymore than we do. Yes, they know some things, but they aren't all-knowing, or all-seeing. Even if they were, it wouldn't be prudent to tell us things that might alter our choices.
If you ask, they will come - and I'm very serious. You just have to be open to the method they use to communicate. It's seldom showy. Just be aware and sensitive to the changes around you. It's truly amazing how they find ways communicate with you.
Now, you can make contact through meditation, which is how I talked with Orega for the longest time. We don't do that much anymore. I just sense him over my left shoulder. I know when a thought is his and when it's mine - but that came through work - for both of us. It's been 5 years now since I began working with Orega, so don't expect it to happen overnight. It is well worth the effort. I know that someday I will run right into him, flesh and all - I expect this to eventually happen - I'm sure that it will.
I don't believe angels really have wings. Orega has only had wings a few times, and that was when I needed comforting. I asked to see him in true form once and he was just a bright light of energy, with tentacles. I think we see tentacles of energy and turn them into wings. That's just my opinion though.
Watch for colors and animals - colors especially. If you start seeing the same color over and over outside your realm of control (like your household), that's a sign. They love color. Orega's color of choice is yellow, but he sports very little of it, and in the most amusing way. He has yellow hair - lemon yellow hair! :) And he wears a yellow belt - that's it - very modest fellow.
If you hear windchimes and there's no air...they're about. :) Just simple things like that; very subtle. It's up to you to pick up on it and understand.
