Then someone may enter our lives carrying explosives, determined to destroy our world, our very life, and all that we hold dear. They watch for that moment when we are physically weak, or going through a stressful time, or when our natural alarm systems and defenses are down. This is only a game to them. They gain power from seeing the misery and unhappiness, and the self doubt they can create. They are master manipulators. They are spiritual predators. They are energy vampires.
Be strong enough to realize that such people carry hidden agendas. They have ulterior motives that only serve their own selfish whims, and feed their sense of power and control. They are not worthy of your thoughts, or your energy. They are surely not worthy of diminishing your value to yourself and others.
Stand firm in the knowledge of who and what you are. Don't answer their calls. Don't open their mail. Don't acknowledge their existence. Never let them see that they are having any effect at all on you. Ignore them. You mean nothing to them except another star on their twisted and demented score card. When you turn them away, they'll find another mark. Remember, it's only a game to them. A sick and destructive game.
Don't become another victim. You are who you are. Stand firm in that. Spirit is with you.
